A couple of months ago, a co-worker came into to my office to ask about Tammy. He is a wise man, a Christian man, who I don't see very often, but has a sincere interest in Tammy's condition. I told him that Tammy was back in the hospital (Union Hosp. at the time) and she was not doing well. He knew she had been in the hospital several times recently. To my surprise, I could see tears forming in his eyes. Then he said, "You know, I feel guilty, I have a wife at home who is perfectly healthy. I take her for granted every day. I'm going home tonight to tell her I love her, and how much I appreciate her". I would suggest the same for all husbands. You never know, from day to day, what might happen to your lovely wife. Make sure she knows how you feel, and cherish her every day.
